New Komplete Kontrol update crashing Studio One

I can confirm that Komplete Kontrol is crashing Studio One : 

 

*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for Komplete Kontrol.vst3
DEBUG_FLR_EXCEPTION_CODE(c0000374) and the ".exr -1" ExceptionCode(c0000005) don't match

 

• Please ensure the drivers are fully up to date and you are testing both VST2/3 of the plugin. If the issue remains you will need to contact Native Instruments to ensure the plugin has been fully tested in Studio One 6.1.2

Hello everyone,

The team have put together an update for the last version of Komplete Kontrol supporting VST2.

It includes the following updates:

FIXED: Crash and UI glitch when loading Sampler or Audio windows, closing and reopening

FIXED: First note in Logic does not play correctly

FIXED: Issue where Logic Pro would open projects with empty instances of Komplete Kontrol

Here you have the installers:

Komplete Kontrol 2.9.6 for mac

Komplete Kontrol 2.9.6 for Windows

Please note that you can still load VST2 plug-ins in Komplete Kontrol 3.0.

@Gorilla Texas Could you tell us how the crash happens, step by step? Is the Komplete Kontrol standalone application working normally? Have you tried the folllowing? KOMPLETE KONTROL Crashes

When I load a Komplete Kontrol instrument it crashes Studio One. The graphics of the plugin also breaks up. It loads really slow now also. I don't have any NI keyboards so I haven't tried it in standalone. Studio One team also confirm it crashing Studio one.

No it didn't in Studio One Komplete Kontrol just isn't compatible with it as shown in picture, the graphics are disfigured and broken. The app in standalone doesn't give me issues but I don't use it standalone. Another thing the issues only happen when I use samples, no issues using instruments inside Komplete Kontrol in Studio One 6.

@Gorilla Texas If the crashes only happen with the sampler module, then it's a known bug already: Crash when opening projects with Komplete Kontrol in Sampler mode

"the bug has been filed: KBDSW-7402 It is now in the hands of the developers."

Regarding the graphic issues, what graphic card are you using? Is the driver for this graphic card up to date? What display settings?

NVIDIA Geforce RTX 2070 yes it's up to date and display is 1920 X 1080 60Hz

Yeah but unfortunately you can't use the sampler module any more because it's no longer possible to drag samples from the browser

You can use the sampler.

You can browse samples, and double click / press load to load them into the sampler module.

Are you referring to the ability to drag and drop into a hosted plug-in? That would be different - and the issue we discussed earlier in another thread.
