Kontakt 6.7.0 - CPU Spikes in Logic (Universal)
Hey folks! I'm having some trouble with Kontakt 6.7.0 in Logic Pro 10.7.2, running on a new MacBook Pro M1 Max, 64GB RAM.
I've been testing Kontakt in a small session with only 3 instances record-armed. When running Logic natively, I'm getting CPU spikes on 2-3 cores, and audio drop outs, sometimes clicking. My Logic settings are a 512 buffer, with all high performance cores enabled (8). Running in Rosetta solves the issue.
What is strange... is that I ran a much more stressful test with Kontakt in another session with 18 instances of Kontakt, including CPU heavyweights like Slate + Ash, CineStrings, etc. It seems to run well, even with live tracks record armed. Not a realistic test, but interesting nonetheless. I'm seeing load distribution across all 10 cores, maxing out around 75-80%.
What could be the issue here? Any insight would be helpful!
My libraries are located on my system SSD, but they were copied from my external SSD and not re-downloaded from Native Access / other downloaders. Could this be related...?

Thanks EvilDragon... this is new to me. Yikes! Thankfully I'm not transitioning fully to this system yet. Not exactly acceptable for such an expensive machine, that's for sure.
I will keep testing and submit my feedback to the Logic team.
