Komplete Kontrol & Cubase12 Channel Change

Hi

I hope I can explain this correctly.

When I change the channel in Cubase12 from KK plugin channel to a midi track channel the KK keyboard display and button stays on plugin instead of changing to midi.

How can I change/fix that?

You can't. Hardware integration only occurs on channels that have an instance of KK inserted.

If I remember correctly I never had to press the midi button when I changed to a midi track or a none KK plugin. It did itautomatically🤔

When I changed to a none KK instrument channel in Cubase I got this screen on the keyboard, but not anymore.

Now it stays at the KK instrument screen

Hi, are you using the NI's Daw integration or a custom script?

I ask this because the NI's integration works as expected (i.e., going to MIDI mode when our track is not a KK instance).

I'm on Win10, CB12.

Hi, if you open the Studio Setup of CB12, do you see the Komplete Kontrol S-Series entry as in the screenshot below?

If it's there, then there shouldn't be a problem with auto-focus of the Komplete Kontrol instances, as far as I know.

Yes I have that selected.

I started a new project and it works now on midi channels but not on sampler tracks🤔
