When I can't hear these kits on the left in the Battery, is that normal?
But I went to Komplete Kontrol and clicked on the kits on the left.

As in you expect a preview of the kits when you click on them?
That is a feature only in Komplete Kontrol and Maschine for "NKS" enabled plugins. THis does not trigger a preview within the Battery plugin, so yes it is normal to hear nothing.
