Sounds like a nice future project.

In the meantime, you can probably find 3rd party saxophone plugins compatible with Kontakt.

Our team made a list of 5 free libraries, if it can help:

I would like to see anyone create a realistic soprano saxophone instrument. It's asking a lot though; that's a hard one to do because of the way it's played. It's not just about realistic individual notes, but how the legato works, etc. Embertone's Sensual Sax is good IMO and very inexpensive, but it has a very distinct sound that won't work on everything. For a free one, I suggest the DVS sax. Very basic but a good overall sound IMO.

Is DVS an acronym for Dannenberg ensemble in the Reaktor User Library? Anyway, I thought of that, because I checked the Flügelhorn and other instruments in there and it is a-maz-ing! Can't remember if there is a soprano sax in there, however.
