@Pascal MOURARD Guitar rIg 5 was discontinued a while ago, it's an issue with newer Macs and their new architecture, here's the workaround: GUITAR RIG 5, KONTAKT and SUPER 8 R2 Open as Demo Versions on Apple Silicon / M-Systems

    Hello,

I keep having the same bug, tried to delete all files then install again, guitar rig still opens as DEMO and won't let me active stating: Service centre cannot be found. Please run the product installer again to install service centre.

I tried to do the trick with downgrading to older native access version then re-install GR5 and suddenly my whole DAW won't open, all NI instruments/plugins could not be run. Got to re-install back the updated Native access, restart my mac couple times and finally I could at least open my DAW sessions. GR 5 still not working… any help ?

    Thanks

Have you checked the article I've posted 2 posts before yours? It seems you have a M1 Mac: GUITAR RIG 5, KONTAKT and SUPER 8 R2 Open as Demo Versions on Apple Silicon / M-Systems

If that didn't help please contact our support specialists here: https://bit.ly/NI_support_NA

Having to install an outdated version of Native Access is unacceptable. That's not a solution, that's a workaround. This problem is not new anymore, they should have released a fix by now.

The software runs fine on the new Macs and it's not working because of ACTIVATION.

If you cannot make old products work because of LICENSE/ACTIVATION, release a version without it.

It's really sad when people that bought the product have a worse experience than who pirated it.

These products were discontinued way before the birth of Sillicon Macs. You can still use them with this workaround or use it on a supported system.

Guitar 5 and Kontakt 5 latest supported OS is MacOS 10.15.

Super 8 R2 standalone is discontinued and has been replaced by the version 1/Reaktor ensemble (which should be available to you).

I know, they are discontinued, I don't want NI to keep updating Guitar Rig 5. The problem is that IT WORKS, but ACTIVATION prevents me from using it. It has nothing to do with the software itself.

If you cannot make activation work anymore, remove it.

Edit: who pirated the software can still use it on new M series Macs, they don't need NI to update anything.

I checked your ticket from 2022, I see there has been some misunderstanding. You have 2 NI accounts, one with a gmail email, one with yahoo, I assume you're logged in in Native Access with the account that doesn't have the GR5 Pro license. We can merge everything into one account and that should solve the issue, let me know which one you want to keep.

Rig 3 is not supported on Guitar Rig Pro 6 or 7, the device has been discontinued years ago.

Regarding the missing presets in GR7 Pro, can you give more details?

Could it be that you selected a colour favorite filter here?

All this is irrelevant. The plugins themselves are still working fine. It's just your copy protection that doesn't.
Besides, GR5 worked just fine until I updated NA 2 days ago. And nobody with a sane mind could've expected that a NA update would actually deactivate a plugin.

And as far as Super 8 goes, moving it to Reaktor has been an offense towards your Mac users because Reaktor runs incredibly bad under silicon macOS and isn't supported at all anymore.
