Pitch bend not registering on piano roll using Electric sunburst (logic x)

HI, I'm using iPad Pro with Logic Remote app connected and in keyboard mode, I'm recording onto logic x and the pitch bend works in the electric sunburst window (you can hear it change using the mouse) but it doesn't register after the recording has been made whilst recording and using mouse to bend notes up or down, it does, however, work when using the logic floating keyboard (Command K) and pressing 1 or 2 whilst recording (the bend is recorded and shown on the piano roll) what am I doing wrong? or rather, what settings do I need to check and why is logic floating keyboard working?

@Capt.Oates Tha looks more like a Logic issue but just to be sure, the pitch bend info does get recorded in the MIDI clip or not?

Or is the Pitch bend info recorded but not affecting the instrument?

Unfortunately I don't have an iPad and this remote app. Maybe there's a Logic guru in the house?
