Key press/release popping noise while using LORES plugin

Just downloaded the full version of Lores plugin and noticed that any preset I choose produces a very noiticeable popping noise when I press or release keys on my kk-s88. I'm using this inside of Logic Pro and I don't have this issue in other plug-ins. This popping sound is audible on my recording attempts as well. I'm new to using NI and plug-ins, so any help would be very appreciated.

Update: I think I've found the answer by experimentation. I increased the buffer settings in Logic to 256. No more popping when I pressed/ release keys while using Lores.
