I've figured it, thanks. I didn't have the Rig Kontrol ASIO matched with my sequencer ASIO.

My system, for the record , is Guitar Rig 5, Rig Kontrol 2 and Reaper running on a generic Windows 7 PC.

I intend to use GR as standalone in live performance using a Windows 7 laptop and Rig Kontrol 2 into a guitar amp/house PA. Any tips appreciated.
