Understanding play series fx page

hello I haven't used the sampled instruments of the play series for a very long time & I have trouble understanding the links between the part I circled in GREEN & the one circled in RED... I don't have the impression that when I press the "modwheel/velocity/mod env etc., it changes anything.. can someone explain it to me?

Hi @Flow77 once you choose the modulation source in the red box, there should be sliders appearing next to the parameter controls in the green box. From there you can use the sliders to choose the amount of modulation. Hope this answers your question!
