In Playbox, where do custom audio files live when dropped into Playbox?
Hi NI Team & Community -
I absolutely love Playbox and was wondering...when dragging and dropping audio files into Playbox...
- Where exactly do those audio files get saved (looking for the file path on macOS and Windows)?
- Do the custom audio files get saved with the Ableton project instance?
- What happens if I delete the source where the audio files are dragged from, will Playbox say files are missing the next time opening the project? (NOTE: I tend to collect all my audio files that I want to use for that specific instance of Playbox into a temporary folder on my desktop, then I delete the temporary folder when I am done).
Any clarity on the above items is greatly appreciated. 🤩

I can't imagine it operates any different than any other. Delete those files and the instrument's reference to that file will be lost.
