I'm one of Maschine's biggest boosters and always have been, suggesting it to everyone.. but I just simply don't believe NI is assigning the software engineering resources to this product that would make it move forward.

If you were to look at a changelog of versions for the last 5 years, it's shocking how little has been added.

My guess is they have no more than 2-3 actual software engineers working on it and Komplete Kontrol.

Otherwise the timeline makes little sense (though perhaps there's been a lot of turnover, which means every new person has a long ramp up time before contributing)

Agree with the need for communication proactivity: NI has our email after all, so they can do “recall campaigns” instead of letting users discover issues by themselves and loosing hours browsing (laggy) forums.

As I side note: once I realized how much Maschine+ is an open ended platform (exceptional and unique quality among its market.. see for example the amazing DIY stuff users are doing with Reaktor in another thread here) it became clear to me that this product simply needs more time to stabilize.

I know a couple of Tesla Model S first release owners: they had issues all the time (they probably don’t tell you because they wouldn’t appear very smart for having spent 100K€ on such a faulty car).

Maschine+ is a breakthrough in music production, whose superior layered complexity needs more time to stabilize. Interestingly since I realized this my unit almost stopped crashing 🤓

A lot of feature have been urgent since a very long time but all we can do is take it as is or switch… for someone like me who invested a lot and the value it loses over time all I can do is pray and stick to it and keep enjoying what I always liked about it without being eaten by the frustrations induced by unfulfilled expectations and respect their choices even if I don’t understand simple missing features such as pining a spectral analyzer on a master bus on my second screen or having good midi implementation

I can't wait anymore.

I am gonna sold my maschine+ an go for push 2.

I always loved NI products but i believe that Maschine + have no futur.

It's not just about this update it's about the future of Maschine.

I dream that better automation will appear in maschine. At the moment, it is very difficult to use automation. It is difficult to set automation points with the mouse, you cannot draw curves.

Maschine is great for synths (including analog synths) and electronic music, but the awkward automation is very frustrating.

I hope the developers are working on it.

I find it very hard to understand why any company would not want to engage positively with its users, after all, it's in both their interests to utilise each other and Maschine has got some extremely passionate users, often with very valid ideas. Some time back, when Kai started giving out projections etc. it really did seem like a corner was being turned and things were looking better It really doesn't seem like it is any more, sorry to say.

We have to wait patiently ? that's it?

Maschine + costs more than 1000 € !

We have to accept that Maschine plus will never be a finished product, it's a draft.

I have always been very satisfied with NI products but maschine plus is very disappointing.

I am seriously considering moving on.
