I have MacOS Montrey version 12.2.1, on a MacBook Pro M1 2020, 16gb memory. Fully updated, and with Rosetta2 installed.

Have added serial code into native instruments app, and it is showing as registered under the account online, however, every time I try to install the software, I get the message activation failed: you are missing the base product for which this upgrade/crossgrade/update is valid.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but am getting nowhere.

I have also tried opening the software and then clicking activate, but it's just going round in circles, so at the moment we only have access to the demo version.
