Stradivari Violin not responding to key switches

Hello,

I want to switch between two articulations in Stradivari Violin. The first is C1, the second C2.

Since the piece starts with the C1 articulation, I leave the C1 note empty at the beginning, then when C2 needs to come in, I put a C2 midi note there until C1 comes back when I switch to C1.

Am I doing this right?

Because the articulations are not switching. Neither in the sound nor in the GUI.

Help 😁

You need to start your project with the default keyswitch. Also make sure that C1 is playing MIDI note 36 (your DAW might have a different middle C designation, Kontakt expects C3 = middle C).

    That first option there.

I'm in Reaper (so are you, I think 😁) and MIDI note 36 is C2, not C1.

So I sent 36 and there it is!

Curious: how would I tell Reaper to switch all notes by an octave?

Ah cool, so thta's per project. I would have liked an option per instrument but it'll do.

    Thanks!
