Question about license transfer

Hey gang, I'm sorry for posting here, I reached out to support but my ticket has been sitting a while, just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this, I bought a second hand S2 MK3, the seller sent me over the license but I can't use it, it keeps telling me that I don't own the base product. I thought I would be able to download Traktor Pro 3 with the license the seller gave me, he states that Native completed the transfer already, anybody been through similar or have any tips? I've tried to put in the serial into Native Access, it still says it's registered to another user, the seller told me he's released everything. Thanks!

I do not have S2 MK3, but it should come with bundled TP3....

It usualy works so that one has to register Licence for HW, not for bundled SW. Licence for HW does not require Base Product....

So, hard to guess, what the seller gave you. Maybe it is Upgrade to TP3 from something else... It might be Traktor LE, or TP2. Maybe some kind of Crossgrade....

I guess, you will have to wait for NI Support. Or try to register S2 MK3 first and the troublesome licence after that....

Thanks for your response Kubrak, I tried to register the HW Serial in Access and it says the seller still has it registered to him, he sent me over the license and it gives me that message every time I type it in, it's odd. I sent it over to Support a few days ago, just wanted to see if anyone else has seen this. I'm kinda broke and spent all my fun money I've saved up on this S2, and if I gotta buy Traktor now because the licenses are broken I'm out of luck for a few months haha

Contact the previous owner and tell him he has to ask for license transfer for the hardware.

Otherwise, wait for NI to answer and explain them the situation asking for a new serial for the hardware. They helped me with this one time, just asking me to prove them the hardware was in my hands. But lately (last week or so) I tried to help another user and he told me they answered he had to buy the software. It seems they changed and they are not so inclined to help these days

The guy should ask for Licence Transfer for S2 MK3 HW. And if needed (I think it is not needed) also for Licence Transfer for SW.
