track pad on a Mac not turning knobs of Battery 4

went to turn a knob or two in Battery 4 just now and with an external track pad it did not work

any ideas?

    Hey @Michael Terry Do you use Waves plug-ins ? Then, it's a known issue, check this existing thread:

    Well that’s just dandy! My WUP is going to cost me 240.00 as well….maybe if we all demand a solution from Waves…

    how about if there are no waves plugins within the session?

    Hey Michael,

    The problem comes even if no Waves plug-in is present in the project, it happens when old Waveshell is present in your plug-in folder. I understand your situation, please contact Waves on that matter. The other workaround is to use the previous version of Battery, you will find the link in the thread. Please post over there, it makes things easier to manage, thank you! I will close this one now.
