How can I kill an installation with NI Access 2?

I started installation of K14U on a new laptop and planned to install libraries on an external USB drive.

Already the 1st library installation hang up: Battery 4 Factory Library. I wondered, why it took so long and realized that a number of samples and kits were installed and then it obviously stopped.

All attempts to start the installation again failed. I de-installed NI Access 2 and installed it again, but it still wants to install the Battery lib. I rebooted the laptop several times without any change.

so my question: how can I kill an installation process in NI Access 2?

thanks

Problem is solved. I found an entry in the Windows task manager for Battery Lib installation, killed the 2 processes and now it works.

    Hello,

you can look under settings - progamms and features, if there is an entry then try to uninstall. If not try to use the retool: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003509269-Fixing-Software-Update-Installation-Issues-Windows-

addition: it can be that the laptop went to energy saving mode. that could be the reason, but the installation should then continue where it has stopped.
