Doing updates via the most recent version of Native Access. Guitar Rig 6 update downloaded and updated, Hypha update downloaded and updated, Kontakt 7 update downloaded but installation failed. I restarted my PC but still the installation fails. Any ideas?

I uninstalled the latest version of Native Access and downloaded an archived version (1.4, I think).

I tried the installation of Kontakt7 again with the archived version of Native Access and it worked. So, the issue appears to be with the newer version of Native Access.

Thank you for your assistance with my issue.

Thank you, Jeremy. I haven't tried that on this occasion. It has worked for me previously but I was reticent to uninstall Kontakt 7. I'll give it a try and see how that goes.

I tried the suggestion of using the NI Uninstall RegTool. When attempting to reinstall Kontakt7, I still get the 'installation failed' message. Because it is no longer installed, NI Uninstall RegTool does not see Kontakt7 so I cannot go through that same process. What now?

@Ruckman65 Well, I would have suggested to contact our support but you did already. Hopefully they can work it out.

Kontakt 7 update version installation failed. Tried Reg tool to delete then uninstalled previous kontakt 7. No luck. Tried with new and old native access 2.0 and 1.41, still no luck. However with native access 1.41 it says having issues unzipping the downloaded file. Everything is being installed with no issues. What shall I do, I am stuck? Kontakt 7 was working fine until this new update messed it all up.

I would keep trying to download version 1.4* of Native Access. If you can't get it to unzip, I'd be happy to email you the executable as an attachment.

I had this same exact problem. Here's how I fixed it. (September 20, 2023)

I went into the folder where all of my KOMPLETE files are downloaded (this will vary for each user, of course.) I found a zipped (WinRAR) file entitled "Kontakt_7_Installer." I double-clicked on this file, which opened it in WinRAR. I then used the "Wizard" button to attempt to unzip the files. The process was stopped and an error message stated that the file was corrupted (CRC error.)

I created a new folder and moved this corrupted file to it. Then I launched Native Access and clicked on the Update button which appeared for Kontakt 7. The update file downloaded, and then successfully installed.

I downgraded native access 3 to native access 1. This worked for me

This solved the issue for me (after trying all other options here), and it's the one that makes the most sense. The zip file that was downloaded in my case was also corrupted (couldn't open with 7zip). Once I deleted it and retried installing through native access (latest version) it worked.

The zip files were found in this location in my PC:

    C:\Users\Public\Downloads
