M+ audio inputs

Hi!

I found in manual that M+ have 4 stereo inputs.

Why is it written if there is only one stereo input in the M+?

"Mono Audio Inputs

Each Sound can be configured to receive external stereo or mono audio signals. You may use audio signals from outside MASCHINE+.

MASCHINE+ offers either 4 stereo inputs or 8 mono inputs, so each Sound can use one external mono or stereo input. The same external signal can be fed into any number of Sounds."

I guess that is indeed a bit confusing.

Because altho Maschine plus only has 1 stereo input the Maschine Software supports a max 4 Stereo Inputs.

What this means for a standalone user is that to access those other 3 stereo inputs you would need an external Audio Interface but even if you buy an interface with 8 stereo inputs only 4 will be available.

So if i want use 4 stereo inputs i have to buy some "external Audio Interface"?

Komplete audio 6 has maximum of inputs, but in fact only 2 stereo analogue inputs (+2 digital).

As i see from M+ settings, i cant use internal M+ input along with external Audio Interface.

So if i buy Komplete audio 6 i got only 2 stereo inputs for use.

    Sad..

or there is some other compatible external Audio Interface with real 4 stereo inputs?

    Yes.

Yes, you either use internal interface or external, not 2 at the same time.

Any class-compliant USB-2 interface should work.
