Maschine + feezes or restarts when loading a project

A simple song just made, turns out to pose problems. Factory content only. I have updated the firmware.

What to do about it?

    Have you tried rescanning the contents of the SD card?

    By the way, quite replicably, when I load an earlier versiona and then the later ones causing problems, they load okay.

    Sometimes when the SD card is removed a little quickly or there is a change of FW, you must first try to do a new scan of the card before anything else

    I have an update. It is hard to generalise but the problem persists.

    Turns out that after a restart or after a different project had been loaded, M fails to load, with often having an empty project after minutes of 'busy' screen. However, if after a restart I rescan the library, those same projects load.

    At last. I realised the firmware would not be updated by hw and it was 1.4. After the update, I have tried loading all projects, and no issues whatsoever.
