Maschine MK3 Line Inputs not recognizing any audio

Connecting a vintage synth through the Line 1+2 inputs on the back of the Maschine, but no audio is coming through at all. I'm using jack inputs from my Line-outs on my X3 Korg, going into my L1 +2 on the machine

I removed all midi, and just tried audio inputs alone, but still no luck.

I can't receive the audio through a channel or via the sampler.

I have no mic connected.

Audio IS being output out of the Korg, but just not being received via the Maschine

I saw another thread where someone had to get their machine replaced due to it being a hardware fault - i've had mine for around 5 years, so I'm sure I'm out of warranty. I recall trying it a few years ago, but just though it was a config issue when i got no audio. I now think it could be a hardware issue.

What are my options? What else could i try?

    In the Audio Preferences:

    1. Is the MK3 audio interface selected / active ?
    2. Is Port 1+2 correctly selected ?
    3. is the input vol knob all the way up?

Are you running Machine in admin mode?

Latest versions of Windows, Mas SW and firmware?

I was routing Maschine Audio through my Z2 driver, so when I changed that to route through MK3 instead (your first point), I immediately got Audio input registering on the input channel. Big relief, thank you for the concise instructions!

    Thank you, Sir!
