DETACHED VST's

Hi.

When I load a Kontakt VST, like Abbey Road 60's Drummer it loads as it should.

But when I click the top of it, the grey bit to move it around the screen Kontakt 7(2) (MAIN GIT 1) it moves away from the actual KONTAKT window as seen in the screenshot.

What can I do to make the two stick together and work as it should?

Any help is appreciated, thnx, ste.

    Hey EDragon.

I really hate when this happens but it has 'fixed' itself for the want of a better word.

I have no idea why it did that.

Really difficult to get your workflow going.

I'm just gonna thank my lucky stars that it has been fixed and pray it doesn't happen again.

I love NI and I love FL.

Thanks for taking the time to look into it. If I get any insight I will write back here.

    thanks again, ste.

The window that has a black background isn't Kontakt, it's your system window. Try restoring Kontakt to full view and see what happens. It's in minimized mode in your screenshot.

Also, you put this in the Reaktor forum

    Hi Gee_Flat.

I'm very new to this, sorry to ask what may be really simple questions.

When I booted FL today the problem of the grey bit moving has gone away.

Like I turned it off and on again type of deal which is great.

I googled restoring Kontakt to full view mode and have learned a lot about expanding Kontakt so thnx.

I guess the only question I have is regarding this discussion page.

I don't know why or how I did it but you are right, I put this question in the Reaktor section.

Is there any way that I can move this page from the Reaktor section or if not delete it completely?

I would like it to go where it should be if possible.

    Thnx, ste.

Admin, please move this thread to Kontakt forum, thanks.

    Here is Reaktor only.

Don't worry about the forum thing. Not a big deal. Just less traffic from Kontakt users in a Reaktor forum and vice versa.

    Next time.

HI, sorry to be back again.

I have used BBC Free Orchestra and the problem with moving it around has come back. It separates into two pieces, the gray bit at the back and the instrument itself.(as shown in the attachment).

I also found a chat about BBC Orchestra where someone is asking can they use it as a Kontakt instrument (attached) but were told that it is not Kontakt native and that it can't be done.

this means that I have something else going on with regard to the two pieces separating. It is affecting more than most from FM8 to loads, I'll attach a few.

do you guys know what it is? It seems very fundamental as it has affected so many vst's.

I will say the actual programs work, like Mint on Kontakt 7.

It's just that I can't move them around the screen.

I will attach just a few to give you an idea of what I mean.

    thanks again in advance,

    thnx again, ste,

I can't seem to get this behavior in FL21, Kontakt 7.1.8, on WIndows 10.
