[Feature Request] - Kontakt 7 - Factory Library 2 - Split Download per Bank

Dear everyone,

Maybe the most stupid suggestion ever. I don't know.

Maybe it is just not possible to do. I don't know either.

But, what about splitting Kontakt Factory Library into individual banks, and make them downloadable separately?

This way we (the final users) don't have to download 40 GB all at once.

Also, it would give us the chance to choose which banks we do want to install.

There could be some of us who only want to use the Band bank or the Acoustic bank, for example.

Being able to download the individual banks separately would also help us to save drive space.

Also, it can maybe make it easier to maintain, update or upgrade part of the library without having to modify all the library necessarily.

I don’t know if it is possible, but I find that it can be a great improvement.

What do you think about it? 🤔

    For those who do not have fiber optics (and there are many of us) it would be a very good thing.

    40gigas is heavy and I had no choice to go with my laptop to a friend who had a very good connection to download the bank.
