Traktor Z2 not connecting

hi guys, i am using my traktor z2 with my turntables for years.

recently i have upgraded my laptop. i m running windows 11

so i had to buy traktor scratch 3.

but now it doesn't recognize the mixer... i m experiencing same issues like this guy in the video.

    Hey, did you download the necessary driver already?

    hi, yes i did. I believe this issue is due to having a modern laptop? Using usb 3.2 ... maybe this caused it?

    I ordered another cable just to check. Tested it on a macbook and it works fine. Just doesn't see my laptop. (Lenovo Legion 7)

    I set up today my new m2 macbook and have the same issue as in the video.

    F1, x1 mk3, audio 6 are working fine

    Fixed it for me. Not sure if i read it here in the comments or elsewhere, but in my case it was the usb connection. The mixer doesnt work if i connect it via usb-c. If i connect it via usb a (even with a usb c hub) it works on mac and windows. It doenst work with usb c neither on windows or mac.
