Omnisphere Hardware integration in Maschine

Hi, anyone using Omnisphere with hardware integration in Maschine? I have a Novation Bass Station II that works flawlessy with Omnisphere both standalone and Pro Tools, but it behaves strangely in Maschine. Most of the parameters act crazy like they are receiving a midi feedback. I've tried to deactivate midi outs in Machine, but no results. Any idea?

Thanks.

@Fulvio Mennella Unfortunately I don't have an Omnisphere licence to try. I'm not sure how the MIDI is implemented in Omnisphere but have you tried changing the MIDI channel?

Its probably because NI Maschine is not currently supported in the Omnnisphere hardware integration, you can check currently supported models here: https://support.spectrasonics.net/manual/Omnisphere2/25/en/topic/supported-hardware-synths

maybe contact Spectrasonics customer support and ask to include hardware integration to Maschine?

You could use it through Pluginguru's Unify VST perfectly (which also has a million other benefits.) When you load the free Unified Omnisphere library with Unify, it will report all the mapped knobs through to Maschine or KK.

Yes I know, but (maybe I explained it wrong) the question was about using the Bass Station II as a controller with Omnisphere (with hardware integration) in Maschine software. And yes I agree I sure have to contact Spectrasonics. I thought maybe someone here, as Maschine, users faced the same problem.

Anyway, thanks a lot for the support. I'll keep investigating on Spectrasonics forum.

    Cheers.

So, Omnisphere has a feature where a physical external synth can act as a pre-mapped controller ? Cool.

It's possible that MIDI feedback is happening, I'd say explore all possible MIDI routing options for that Pad that has Omnisphere loaded: MIDI In and Out aswell as turning off "MIDI THRU". You would want your Bass Station MIDI Port there.

The only thing I can see making this impossible in Maschine is the fact that MAS doesn't care about MIDI CC Channels, it responds regardless of channel and this Omnisphere feature seems to rely on everything being on Channel 1. Not sure if this is the cause but could be.

Another cause can be the fact that Maschine does not send MIDI Out from plugins:

Thease are the 2 main looooong lasting Machine MIDI weirdness issues.

Are you trying this In Maschine app or MAS-Plug? Start with the standalone app as the plug is more complicated due to DAW routing.

I tried Standalone and Plugin: same issue

Did you find a solution to this? I use BS2 with Maschine and was considering Omni but won't buy it if this doesn't work properly

I would never use a plugin like Omnisphere in Maschine anyway as it doesn't support aftertouch, you would be losing so much expression. Run synth plugins in a proper DAW
