Tbh I’d really like to update but just want to check if it works - yes I know “officially” its not supported but that doesn’t mean it won’t work

Just posted my issues with it to another thread here. For M1 silicon macs, myself and at least one other user, 2.8 breaks everything. I’d hold back.

Thanks but it’s working fine on my M1 but so far only tried it on Monterey - I just want to see if anyone is brave enough to try it on Ventura yet

M1 Max / OS Ventura. Standalone version of KK doesn't see non VST3 plugs (like Monark etc). But there's some magic - KK is working great in Logic (Silicon mode). Hope this helps.

Hi thanks yes it does - of course I wouldn't expect it to see Monark as that requires Reaktor which isn't silicon ready yet, or VST2 plugins (except if you run KK in Rosetta). Sounds good to me then

Just to make it clear - despite VST2 plugs are not working in standalone app - all of them work in KK inside my DAW (Logic). I hade a chance to test it in Nuendo 12 - vst3 only.

Really? That must have been in Rosetta mode surely? When I run Logic in Rosetta I see my VST2s but not when I run it native (on Monterey) - I can't see that changing.

You're right. For unknown reason I've done Logic tests in Rosetta mode. In native mode - vst 3 only.

No problem - the most important thing is it sounds like things are working as expected on Ventura

The latest update is compatible with Ventura (MacOS 13)

What you are experiencing is something different. Komplete Kontrol 2.8.0 brings the long awaited M1 native support. Only VST3 and AU are then supported. You can get more information here:

KOMPLETE KONTROL / MASCHINE Error: "*Product* could not be loaded, as it may not support Apple Silicon or VST2 to VST3 migration."

Updated to Ventura - painless process - so far all seems fine except Halion won't load in Logic but tbh it was buggy already on Monterey for me. -elicenser still needs Rosetta which doesn't help
