Traktor 3.6.1 and Pioneer DJM-900NXs2 - Crunchy Distortion

I have recently been experiencing this horrible distortion when running Traktor through a DJM-900NXS2

The firmware and drivers are all up to date.

I read about issues with some files from Bandcamp. but I have tested a variety of file formats and am experiencing it with all of them....

I tweaked the setting in the Traktor audio preferences.

I had previously been using this setup with no issues. I did a gig using my Kontrol S3 and did not experience any problems

I tested different USB cables, thunderbolt adapters and the two usb ports on the mixer and am still experiencing the distortion....

Any thoughts?
