Inserting pattern as clip in Maschine+ standalone

Theres a nifty feature in the software that allows you to insert a pattern as a clip that you can not only move around but already has the midi data so you can tweak it as needed.

Is there a way to do this on the M+? Currently, I have to select all notes and copy them in a given pattern, create a new clip and then paste the notes there.

You can convert a scene to clips and all of the patterns in the scene will convert to clips just like the software. Make a scene with the pattern or patterns that you would like to convert to clip. Add the scene to your arrangement in Section Mode and make sure the "Section" button has a "Clip" button next to it at the top of the screen. You might have to hit the Section Button 1 extra time to get them options to appear. You will see a "Convert" button between the Clip and Duplicate button. Once you press Convert you can find your patterns in the Clips area.
