Direct BPM entry for Traktor

Hi. New to all this so maybe you guys do things differently / better.

When mixing with Traktor Pro 3 I prefer not to use Sync because it seems to introduce a tiny delay in triggering cues.

But with my entry-level Kontrol S2 it's sometimes very hard to dial in the precise tempo I'm shooting for.

It'll stubbornly jump from 0.2 BPM above the target to 0.3BPM below or whatever. Very frustrating!

It seems to me that it ought to be easy to make the track BPM field editable so I can type in the exact value I want.

Would anyone else find this functionality useful? I'd love it!

Even when you disable quantize and snap?

I normally sync, play, un-sync then pause. Then the bpms are exact and there's not need from traktor to auto-align. I haven't tried taking away snap though haha could be a simple solution.
