Internal midi sequencing in Maschine

I would like a midi sequencer VST to trigger notes in an audible instrument VST that is loaded on another channel of the same project.

What's a way to do it?

Edit: I'm reading that one possibility is running a physical cable out then back in to the unit. Naturally, this would limit the maximum midi sequences to one per project.

This and my recent post with a question regarding native VST3 support have both been resolved using Patch Work VST. Happy days. Keep up the good work NI, Big love!

My quarrel with Maschine is that it does not route midi notes within tracks, every DAW out there has this feature. Impossible to use tools like Scaler.

A clunky workaround, but you can use midi fx like Scaler, HY sequencers, Rhythmizer in Maschine using Bluecat patchworks or Bidule (both paid - there may also be some free alternatives)

Didn't NI implement this technology 12 years ago? I can't seem to set it up correctly.
