connecting an aki ewi5000 to Kontact 5

Hi folks, I am having problems with my akai ewi 5000 connecting to Kontact 5. It does actually connect as its showing in Kontact 6 but I cant get ant sound from it. any advice ?? Thanks

    First, check that the Midi Channel the 5000 is transmitting is the same as the midi channel assigned to the Kontakt Instrument. (See page 26 of the 5000 manual for details)
