Is there any news about Komplete Kontrol and Machine getting M1 Native

I've much larger latency when using Komplete Kontrol or Maschine en bigger CPU load than when using the same plugins and sounds in Mainstage or Bitwig. Turns out both Maschine and Komplete Kontrol are not M1 native yet. The M1 chips are out for a few years now! Please NI, make it happen!

Just one and half year.... Only Kontakt is AS native, the rest will come.

So many of the Komplete Kontrol keyboard features don't work on the M1 Logic Pro. example -- The Mixer, Mute/Solo work in Rosetta mode but not native..... you would think this would be somewhat or a priority

I think I am getting my Mac Studio soon (waited for some time now). If I experience major issues, I will get rid of KK S61 and the software. I love it since it works so well with Cubase, which is already M1 native, but this is not the only HW that integrates nicely. I don't need a very quick updates, only honest communication when we can expect releases.

4-9 weeks, if two months old plans have not changed. It will come, probably, together with release of Komplete 14.

That sounds great, thank you. I will need to wait up to 8 weeks for my Mac (non-stadard setup) so that would mean I can get my setup working fully natively. Fingers crossed

@Kubrak but it does not mean we have to upgrade to get native m1 support, right?

Well, probably not. Kontakt has been released few months ago, and Guitar Rig this week.

But it may happen that not all plugins will be AS. For example if it becomes legacy or it gets major version an upgrade will be needed. But that are my guesses not information from NI.

Unfortunately, as a severely visually impaired person, I used to use my KK S Series a lot until all my other accessible plugins became M1 compatible. Now I just have a rather expensive desk space hogger. I can’t run KK in Rosetta 2 mode as it takes up too much CPU when used in logic on top of my accessible apps even though I run 16GB RAM.

the thing is, there are some great compatible instruments I could be tempted with if I could use them but I can’t until this is sorted.

it’s a shame because NI worked hard to include us VI musicians, only to take it away again.

    please help

Hey Jonathan, we're working on Komplete Kontrol M1 compatibility as we speak. The update will be available for free to download in Native Access this Autumn, most likely early on.

Hi Nico. Thank you so much for getting back to me. I know you’re all busy with Komplete 14 (or so your servers are telling me) but I really appreciate this news. It helps a great deal
