D2 compatibility with Traktor Pro Plus

I use Traktor with a pair of D2s, still believe they're the best controller out there. Will the release features of Pro Plus, specifically the pattern player, be supported on my hardware?

And, as the yearly subscription is on offer, do you expect upcoming features to continue to support the D2 controllers?

    After what users of traktor pro plus have written about mapping the pattern player, i assume that the fx controls will be able to control it, although i don't think the display will show any of the names and values without diving into and adjusting the qml files. Since the D2 is no longer officially supported, i doubt NI programmers will spend time updating it. But i bet it is possible to do.

    With the D2's huge screens the pattern player should be supported well and easily, i bet they wont because they want you to buy the x1 mk3 to see the pattern player on the small oled screens.

    we can use the Step Sequencer on the D2 and replicate the patterns.

    All plus functions work fine on the D2s as long as you are not on AMD processor.

    Don't expect the official support for PP on the D2 or S8.

    Even the new X1 doesn not support it fully.
