Hi everyone

I recently had to reset the default settings in "Cubase 11_64". and renamed the folder to hide it, because cubase no longer opens a midi event without crashing. Fortunately everything worked again, after a couple of support emails to steinberg, except that I had to reinstall absynt 5 from native.

But now I have another problem:

I cannot see the “Komplete Kontrol DAW 1 Driver in Cubase. But i have the other 2 drivers showing in both Komplete Kontakt and Cubase and services are all running, just no DAW 1 Driver

The problem I have no is that I now have no lit on my Mk2 keyboard (see picture example) no lit or “Mixer” button to show my track volume levels, and the 4D joystick doesn't respond either. i can scroll through the menus in Cubase and see them on Controllers screen so it's like the Browser , Plug-in , Instance, MIDI, Setup Buttons does not 'work' the “Mixer” button does not work..

It seems the issue is with BOMEMidi driver.

that i have to Download the BOME MIDI SDK and reinstall Bome Driver:

Then repair/reinstall Windows .NET framework :

After that, I have to choose the MIDI port "Komplete Kontrol DAW" in settings to set it up.

I don't know yet how I'm going to do that, because I've never done this before and I'd like to be creative rather than having to log in somewhere to ask questions and questions or call or email, we don't pay thousands of euros to ask questions every time to run into mistakes.

for example, it is no at this time 03.00 hours at midnight, instead of mixing a song -again i'm stucked with problems

Very frustrating that with a brand new pc system/softwares and hardware this is turning into troubleshooting sessions rather than being productive.

Could NI team please look into why this is happening and try rectify it with a bug fix/update. It certainly would help a lot of us. I think we all would prefer using the keyboard as is without dropouts etc.

I would suggest unplugging the KB, uninstalling and re-installing KK and then plugging the KB back in. Also check Device Manager to see if there is some kind of issue with the KK driver.
