Hi just a quick question regarding the 11 piece ensemble Session Strings 2 please.

Is it possible to score for separate instruments within the four piece offered? I.e if scoring within the the keyrange for Cello can you get just one playing or is it always going to be two? Or for another example will it always be four violins.

I guess what i am asking is, is it possible to score for a standard four piece string quartet.

Thank you and take care.

Not with that instrument. All sections (violin, viola, cello, basses) are multiple players.

For solo instruments, the Kontakt Factory Library has all four in solo mode.

The Amadeus Symphonic Orchestra from Sonic Scores [https://sonicscores.com/amadeus/] has solo strings as well in a Kontakt Instrument.

And if you are really serious, get the Cremona Quartet from NI. It is the best for articulations.

Thank you that is really helpful.

Will revisit both Amadeus and the factory library. Getting a little tight for storage and its mainly Cello needed so will probably add the Stradivari for now.

    Take care.
