Native Acces failed: unknown error - workaround

The solution NI gives for this persistent error may help some, but for many it does not help.

This workaround helped me:

Start windows in safe mode with network enabled. start Native acces. Update the programs you want to be updated. Ignore the error message ('installation failed. The previous installation can not be removed'). Start windows in normal mode. Go to the download directory and find the zip files of the downloaded updates. These can be opened and the update executables can be started.

a bit more hassle, but it works.

Hi @Bearfoot thanks for sharing the solution. I see that you were able to resolve the issue after you upgrade to Windows 11. Is this solution for an older version of Windows?

No, this is for windows 11. Shortly after I upgraded from W10 to W11 the problem disappeared, but after some time it reappeared.

@Bearfoot Does the problem persists with the new version of Native Access?
