i keep getting very loud pops through my Kontrol S4 Mk3.

i unplug everything from it (decks and mic) except the lead from my macbook pro and it still pops and makes the tracks dip out, so i figure it must be the laptop/cable. it is driving me to complete craziness. never used to do it.

the Load is showing minimal.

it is set at 41000mhz and bitrate of 1024 (highr than it used to be, it stopped it for a short while, but means my mic is a bit laggy.

i can use it with the decks plugged in as a stand alone mixer, with the mic plugged in and it doesn't happen. only when the cable to the laptop is plugged in.

any help and/or advice will be gratefully recieved.

(just running a Traktor Pro 3 update)

    Hello,

this can be an electrostatic load or something similar, have you tried to run the laptop from battery with s4 connected?

M1, or at least M1 Pro/Max/Ultra need that... It is probably due to big.little of M1, which was not used in x86 world, till quite recently.
