New s49 MKII Light guide issues

Hey gang,

My light guide is exceedingly dim and does not correspond with the keys that I'm pressing. Am I missing something the set up? Could it possibly be firmware issue? Or software?

    Could be power issue. I only use mine with external power supply and do not rely on usb port. If relying on usb port check different ports on computer as some may not provide enough power, especially older usb 2 ports. Some powered usb hubs that can charge a motebook or phone work better than usb ports on older computers.
