Thank you for the email finally confirming there are no plans to go subscription only and that Perpetual Licences will continue to be offered. If only this had been confirmed oh so long ago, a lot of angst could have been spared for all and sundry.

    Also, 'plans' could change on a dime.. all it takes is a new big investor :)

    The email came via iZotope, so I presumed as he mentioned SoundWide and that NI is under the same umbrella, that he would include the other brands within that.

    Yes, things can change on a dime, and we can hardly say that honesty and integrity have been overflowing in these waters, intentionally or otherwise, but I do take this as at least an acknowledgement of an issue that has caused no small amount of distress here about.
