Hello again,

how can I use the Smartstrip -> Pitch control with Massive loaded?

With Massive X it works but what about Massive?

Ah and what's the difference between both Massives? Is Massive X newer?

Thank you!

Massive X is a total new instrument. Very different to (good old) Massive.

So is the Smartstrip usable with the old Massive?

    Any idea?

How to use the Smartstrip for Pitch instead of Modulation Wheel?

    What I found out:

I can press Shift + Project button (top left button) for Midi Mode.

Then I open the NI Software Controller Editor and can fiddle around with the hardware buttons on the Mikro MK3. So far so good.

But why can't I just drag and drop the Pitch Wheel assignment in Massive X and assign it? Would be a lot better!

So in Controller Editor - how to: set the Smartstrip that it drops back to middle position and when touching it , it should jump to that pitched position and can be slided as on a keyboard???

Please elaborate with a screenshot in Controller Editor ;)

    Thaaaank you!!

I got it - here the screenshot:

Position and Touch are set to Pitchbend.

    Mode as seen to Trigger.

    Value set to 0.

    Behaviour:

When touching the Smartstrip it jumps to the according pitched position.

When releasing the Smartstrip it goes back to the normal middle pitch position - just like the pitch wheel on a keyboard.

Thank you to myself and happy jumping and pitching and sliding to the new year 🎛️🎹🎸
