Choir Omnia's samples are full of noise floor

Choir Omnia's samples are full of annoying background white noise, which clearly points out on a poor process this library has gone through. You can notice the noise interrupting mainly on during the release of any vowel, especially when using the sopranos.
I really love this library, the vowels, the sequencer, the intuitive experience, almost everything is well made, but why do I have to even think about getting RX 10, just to clean up recordings that you offer for a luxury price tag?

Thanks for the information.
It was on my next buy list...

Here's an example for some white noise at the release. It is even worse with some other samples.

That sounds more like dirt from an effect such as a compressor or a reverb. No?

I have actually used the closed mic and disabled the IR reverb.

OK. It still sounds like effects dirt, but I'm just guessing.
EQ: Adjusts the amount of Room Noise. Use the slider to increase or decrease the amount of the noise floor of the auditorium captured during the recording process.

One thing I will say that turned me off is the Introduction video. I watched it last week and it just comes off as creepy and demonic without any artistic panache.

Gosh you are right! I have actually read the manual before continuously complaining. What a terrible mistake. I apologize in front of the NI team for the inconvenience, I thought that EQ sculptors the sample and the sound only, not the noise of the room.
If anyone sees it, what's the point of creating an EQ that would mess with the noise floor? Who wants noise floor anyways? And it still affects the entire sample though, so I wonder whether I should use an external EQ if I wish to change the sample's timbre without boosting the noise.

An update: The EQ indeed controls the noise floor, but there is no way to get rid of it if you wish to so. If you use even an external EQ just to make the sample slightly brighter, the noise is being boosted up once again. More than this, as I have mentioned, the EQ controls the sample's timbre just as well, so if you reduce the highs of the noise floor, you reduce the highs of the Choir too. Therefore, as the feature has an intention behind it and it's not a bug or a flaw at all, it doesn't serve the average creator as expected. you can never get rid of the noise floor in Choir Omnia which makes it hard for those who look for a clean mix.

It says a 'Slider' for noise amount in that comment I made, but I don't see it. I guess you tried eliminating certain mics?
As a workaround you could try rolling back the 'release' on the volume envelope to cut off that trailing noise.

Reducing the release is the best workaround, I have actually tried that but thanks offering it! I am still convinced that no one wants to boost the noise floor, at least not as a default. NI should have assumed that the majority would prefer a clean sound with no artifacts.

I use to work in a room that was near a kitchen and it drove me nuts. So I would unplug the Fridge when I did vocals. 😀
That's how much I want noise in my recordings.

Lol, thanks for sharing. To the point - exactly. There is no reason to set the noise floor to be present as a default, no one would probably ever want or need it.

Only now I notice your first line. Where's the slider? NI please don't tell me you forgot to add the noise floor slider.

@Kaiwan_NI @Jeremy_NI @Nico_NI
Does this sound like a 399$ library to you guys?

I'll forward this to the team in charge. I'll get back to you when I get more info.
