Lores taking very long to open, Choir Omnia crashing Reason

One of my biggest regrets is buying NI products. When they work they sound great, but the amount of crashes is absolutely ridiculous. I've given them every chance but Im really getting pi**ed of with them. It takes 10 minutes for Lores to open in kontakt. If Choir Omnia opens in Komplete Kontrol without crashing Reason12 I count myself lucky. I really feel like Ive been ripped off.

Update on behalf of the OP: The crashes are mostly from Reason, and exFat which we don't support is in use here - so that might contribute to the crashes.

Hope Kontakt is working well for you on Studio One.

I'm with you DrAndy. I can't wait to replace this software with reliable working software AND a company that actually cares about its users. That day can't come soon enough.

OK I didn't know about exFAT so im reformatting as NTFS and reinstalling. Studio One is looking good initially so I'll let you know if there are any further issues.

exFat doesn't cause plugins stored on my computer hard drive to crash and some of them did.

I've now reformatted my external HD to NTFS and the problem still occcurs.

It also occurs in Studio One, a totally different DAW though not as badly. My laptop is a Dell and exceeds the specification for both DAWs and the NI plugins. NI have previously said certain computer configurations were compatible with certain plugins when they weren't as they caused problems, in fact they gave me a free upgrade because of this so I suspect a similar thing is happening here. I have a fairly common setup so I don't think its just the DAWs and my computer at fault.
